what are some movies you saw as a kid that you remember from the 1980s?
Here's some I remember:
who framed Roger Rabbit? (this was actually the first movie I ever saw in a theater)
Robocop 1
some movie about this Cheetah in africa,
A fish called Wanda, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, and some animated movie where Billy Joel was a singing dog in NYC,
and
that Christmas movie Scrooged with Bill Murray.

Mon, October 10, 2005 - 9:53 PMBilly Joel... you wouldn't mean Oliver & Co. would you? I just saw Who Framed Roger Rabbit again not too long ago- as a kid I didn't quite get the "pattycake" scene. ;)

Tue, October 11, 2005 - 10:42 PMI watched 'Honey, I Shrunk The Kids' Sunday night. Was on cable. Hadn't seen it in ages. I remember when I first saw it I wanted to be that size. I thought the effects would've been completely cheesy, but they weren't.
Some of my favorite 80s movies:
- Basil the Great Mouse Detective*
- Robocop
- Care Bears: The Movie
- Rainbow Bright and the Star Healer (had to look up the complete title)
- Willow
- Legend
* -this was the first movie I saw in theaters. I was six.
